you've done it again! My Husband Absolutely LOVED his book!
I was shocked at such a response from him. He was so
surprised and grateful! Thank you so much for asking me to
sit for you. He said he would have to study them for a while
to pick a favorite to enlarge.
Every woman should do this special photo shoot for their
special loved one. It made me feel so good to see him so
excited about a gift! I just got on here and saw SASSY !!!!
I love it! You are so talented! Thanks again for
wrapping my book and having it all ready for giving!

Shirley did "American Home"
for me as a birthday gift to my husband. The painting is of
his former home and yard, that he spent many,
many hours renovating. I think everything about the
painting is perfect!"

A "Walk in the Field" was
created from a photograph of my husband's parents (and Vyke,
the golden retriever) on their beautiful farm in northwest
Kansas. We gave it to them for their 45th wedding
anniversary and love it so much that we asked Shirley to
paint one for us to hang in our home, too.

"Dawn flight" fully captures
the early morning fog and ducks as they fly over the Little
Red River at Gaston’s Resort. What I love most about this
painting is that I made this trip to Gaston’s with Shirley.
I didn’t know she had taken this shot until later when I
saw it at one of her exhibits. I had to have it!

"Sandy
by the sea". When Shirley gave me "Sandy by the
Sea", little did she know what a gift it would become. Not
only does it capture the ocean that I love, but reminds me
of our summer vacations on the beach and precious time spent
with family.

"Timeless" is one of my
favorites because it is from one of Shirley’s early morning
walks along the beach. I can feel the warmth, smell the
gulf and hear the waves when I look at this painting.
